Are you a student in Red Deer looking for a scholarship or bursary to help with your education?
The Piper Creek Optimist Club of Red Deer is pleased to introduce the 2024 Young Leaders Award, aimed at recognizing and rewarding young adults in Red Deer who are engaged in their community.
The 2024 Young Leaders Award will award:
- $3,000 in total bursaries toward a post-secondary or furthering education program to eligible Red Deer Students.
The successful recipient is someone who:
- has graduated in 2023: Enrolled in furthering education with a start date no later than September 15, 2024;
- or is graduating in 2024: Enrolled in furthering education with a start date no later than September 15, 2025 and displays an aptitude for volunteering/giving back and has a desire to be a community leader.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2024 Young Leader Award, the deadline to apply is August 31st, 2024.
