The Piper Creek Optimist Club of Red Deer is pleased to announce the 2026 Young Leaders Award, aimed at recognizing, and rewarding young adults in Red Deer who are engaged in their community.
The 2026 Young Leaders Award will award:
- $5,000 in total bursaries toward a post-secondary or furthering education program to eligible Red Deer Students.
The successful recipient is someone who displays an aptitude for volunteering/giving back and has a desire to be a community leader and :
- has graduated in 2025: Enrolled in furthering education with a start date no later than September 15, 2026; and
- or is graduating in 2026: Enrolled in furthering education with a start date no later than September 15, 2026.
Applications are now being accepted for the 2026 Young Leader Award, the deadline to apply is September 30th, 2026.
